Voted by The Times newspaper as one of the best party venues in the UK. and with all its rustic charm it's easy to see why London couple Jenny and Tim chose Higher Eggbeer Farm in Devon as their wedding venue for this summer in June.
I had visited Higher Eggbeer on a number of occasions previously, but had not yet been given the opportunity to wander all of the rooms within the main house. With the entire day taking place at Higher Eggbeer, I was able to explore the entire house (where preparations were taking place), nooks crannies and all, and fell in love with each new discovery every step of the way.
Although the day was relaxed in theme it had been put together meticulously, and ran seamlessly.
Jenny wore a beautiful white wedding dress by Morilee and bought at Paverly bridal in Wimbledon.
Vows were exchanged in the main chapel, and upon Jenny's entrance played a beautiful string Quartet.
The wedding cake was just stunning, and made by one of the very talented bridesmaids (I'm not sure if she was a professional cake maker but she should be).
Speeches were held outdoors after a relaxed candle lit wedding breakfast accompanied by a live saxophonist, leading on to the cutting of the cake and an evening barn dance hosted by the fabulous Paddy's Whiskers Celtic/American band.
There are so many other things that I LOVED about this wedding, but this could turn into a really long post, so you'll just have to scroll down to see the pictures!
Jenny and Tim, it really was an absolute pleasure. Thank you so much for choosing me as your wedding photographer. You really did give me an amazing day to photograph and I wish you every possible happiness for the future.
