Emma and Ian married on an Idyllic summers day at The Millbrook Estate in Devon this May.
As an elopement wedding specialist I have come to learn that not everyone who chooses these beautiful low key weddings, love having their photograph taken.
To get the best wedding photographs at an elopement wedding I always feel it is important to arrive a couple of hours before the ceremony.
On Emma and Ian's day this gave me the opportunity to photograph the beautiful wildlife within the Estate along with all of the finer details such as the rings, cup cakes and button hole etc.
Most importantly it gave me the opportunity to have a little sit down with this lovely couple. I like to think that this gives the bride and groom a chance to become comfortable with me and my camera equipment and that I am not at all scary lol! By the time of the ceremony you're a little more used to having me around ;o)
From the time of meeting to the point of farewell I enjoyed every minute of photographing this beautiful day. I would probably have to say it was perfect.
Emma and Ian, it was wonderful to meet you. I wish you many years of happiness. Congratulations! You did it!
