If you're a bride and groom worrying about the weather on your wedding day, then don't! Just take a look at Charlotte and Jamie's beautiful wedding, which took place at a Georgian country mansion, set within the Kingston Estate, in Staverton, South Devon.
There were raindrops, but this offered up some great photo opportunities which as a photographer I might not always get, and the happy couple and their guests clearly enjoyed themselves throughout.
The day began with a hair cut for the boys, provided by Fresh Kutz. The bride put on a stunning white long gown, by Dizzy Lizzy wedding dress boutique. I LOVE that the father of the bride managed to make his daughter laugh whilst walking down the very grand Marquetry staircase, on their way the meet the groom in the Marble Hall for the ceremony (which was just beautiful).
I must say a big thank you to the best man and groomsmen for assisting me with the group photo's during a spell of short rain showers, you were fantastic! I must also say a huge thank you to Charlotte and Jamie for including me in your wedding breakfast (and speeches), the food was fantastic!
In addition to the daytime celebrations I also found the evening reception to be so much fun beginning with the first dance and shower of balloons. There was laughter and fancy dress in the outdoor black taxi photo booth. A pizza van and a D.J were present, and just before I said my goodbyes the bride was surprised by the groom and guests with news that they'd be going on an exotic honeymoon destination, can you guess where they went? You'll have to scroll to the bottom of the post for the clue.
I have also included a Photoshop reveal for this post. To find out which image had something removed click on the 'PHOTOSHOP REVEAL' tab, also at the bottom of the post.
Charlotte & Jamie, congratulations. This was a wonderful wedding day to have been able to cover and I wish you many years of happiness.
