A fabulous day was had by all!

You knew when it was a good time for us to take time together and when to let us enjoy partying and laughing with our family and friends -capturing it all! "

It was really a true pleasure to have been asked to cover this small intimate family wedding which took place at Bridwell Park at the end of the summer this year.
With seven in attendance (and a little one on the way), the day ran simply and beautifully, with preparations and the ceremony held within the grounds, followed by a light afternoon tea and a few photo's.
I was especially pleased that I was able to capture the deer, waiting for me on my arrival, what a sight!

Back in June I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Shannon and Josh, who married on a beautiful and Idyllic summers day at the picturesque Canonteign Falls.
Their ceremony took place on the pagoda overlooking the lily lake, in the presence of family and friends.
Afterwards, and due to the great weather I was also able to take Shannon and Josh up to the waterfalls for a few photo's (Shannon's wedding converse worked perfectly for this)!
Read moreLooking at these photo's you'd never believe that after 17 years together Rachel & Paul only have a very small handful of pictures together, due to 'not being a fan of the camera'. After hearing this I made it my absolute personal mission to capture something that they would hopefully love and cherish for years to come.
Rachel prepared for her day at the pretty Millbrook cottages (hair and make-up by the highly talented Cathy Procter), whilst Paul and company kept the children entertained by exploring the beautiful grounds. Their ceremony was held at the Summer House, followed by some relaxed/formal/semi-posed pictures (they did brilliantly-I tried not to make a big deal out of it).

I so enjoyed getting to know Joanne and Mark, at their private wedding held this Autumn at the beautiful Millbrook Estate.
Millbrook is a regularly visited favourite of mine and on this day, with it's rich Autumnal tones the grounds looked more stunning than ever. There's no denying that, for a small or intimate wedding this is the perfect place to be.
Read moreThis month I had the pleasure of photographing the lovely late summer wedding of Danielle and Gavin.
There were many beautiful, heartwarming moments to the day which ended with a spectacular dance off between the bride and her father (as well as my jaw dropping this also brought a tear to my eye).
Read moreTaken back in 2010, this wedding was shot during my, 'practise days', so you can imagine how over the moon I was to be invited to spend three days in the South of France, which was only a short plane ride away from my then North London address.
To top it all I was allowed to bring a friend (thank you Tanya, I'll never forget this trip with you), who willingly held my camera bag and other bits and pieces, although my equipment was significantly less back then.
Read moreI fell in love with so many of the details at this intimate Treetops wedding, held this July in North Devon.
I love that Lewis spent hours calving out a completely flawless heart in the centre of Emma's favourite book, 'P.S I Love You', to hold the rings in. I love how excited Emma was about her wedding step ladder, which she'd decorated beautifully with flowers, ornaments and photographs. I totally love the hand knitted bride and groom, made by a close family member (I think a wonderful keepsake for years to come).
Read moreEarly one morning this May, I took a trip around the lovely Powderham Castle (a prime wedding venue, set in Kenton, South Devon) to explore the grounds, discover the wildlife, and to catch a bit of sunshine.
The castle grounds feature breathtaking scenery, lots and lots of land and the most beautiful wisteria I have ever seen, growing up the walls of the castle.

I don't usually cry at weddings, but just after Lynda and Andy had said their vows, they caught me shedding a tear. The love between them was just heart warming.
Lynda and Andy, congratulations, it was lovely to spend the day with you all, and I hope you love these photo's....
Read moreI had an amazing day in the beautiful sunshine, with this darling family from Liverpool, who travelled all the way to the gorgeous Millbrook Estate in North Devon (with preparations at Rose Cottage) to say their wedding vows, and become Mr. & Mrs this April 2017.
Louise and Lee made me feel right at home, surprising me with tea and cake on arrival, and their two lovely children kept me entertained all day with lots of questions about photography and some fantastic posing for the camera!
Congratulations Louise and Lee.
wishing you and your family many years of happiness to come.
