It was an absolute pleasure to photograph Chloe and Simon’s colourful, vintage styled elopement family wedding this August at Millbrook Estate.

My time with them began a couple of hours or so before the ceremony. This gave me the opportunity to photograph the exquisite grounds, say hello to the animals (the ducks zig and zag are so friendly), allow Chloe and Simon to get used to me and my array of camera equipment, and capture some of the getting ready with Cathy Proctor working on hair and make-up!

After pampering was complete, Chloe, Simon and their family attended a relaxed ceremony at the Summer House, where vows were exchanged, following by a popping of the cork, and a traditional glass of champagne.

We enjoyed a walk around the grounds, including the lake for some relaxed photo’s before we said our goodbyes and they enjoyed a beautiful afternoon tea prepared by Gary Shapland.

A perfect day had by all.
