“I cannot begin to explain how totally excited I was to have been asked to photograph this fantastic Halloween wedding.

Soon after Lucy had booked me (almost a year prior to the wedding), we gave each other a little follow on Instagram.  I loved being able to catch a glimpse of her excitement during the lead up to the big day and fell totally in love with her sense of humour and character.  She was every bit as wonderful in person, and the love between her and Ben was so clear to see.

The day itself was tastefully put together in the theme of Halloween, with The Nest (where vows are made) decorated in an array wonderful Halloween themed pieces.

Lucy and Ben's personal styling was beautifully eye catching.  The contrast of Lucy's white wedding dress, and burgundy wedding flowers  worked perfectly.  White Doctor Martins with red hearts were the perfect finishing touch.  Ben's outfit complimented her perfectly, with Autumnal tweed and a burgundy rose.

Lucy and Ben, thank you so much for inviting me into your world, it was a true honour to meet you, and to be witness to the love shared between the two of you and your now united families.
